Change in Tournament Registration Deadline
Tournament Registration Announcement – We’re days away from our 1st tournament of 2024 on the Roanoke River in Plymouth, NC. We are very excited to get our year started. We’ve decided to make a small change to our tournament registration process and we want to give you ample notice time. The team at Collins Bass For Cash wants to ensure that the angler check-in process on tournament morning goes as smoothly and as quickly as possible.
We previously announced we would accept tournament entry fees via credit cards at the boat ramp on tournament mornings in 2024. Taking payments in person on tournament mornings will likely hinder our ability to get anglers checked in and on the water quickly. Additionally, our team will be able to write our tournament payout checks in advance of the tournament and make our rewards ceremony quicker as well.
Our ability to accept credit card payments in person is also dependent on cell phone signal and data coverage is very limited at some of our tournament locations. Last year we required all tournament registrations to be paid the Wednesday night before our tournaments. We’ve decided to go back to that policy for 2024. So effective immediately, we are requiring all tournament entry fees to be paid by 12:00 noon the Thursday before each tournament.
