Beginning in 2023, the Collins Bass for Cash is proud to be a part of the Bassmaster Team Championship. Being able to send our top anglers to this National Championship Tournament was highly requested by our anglers during the off-season.
Our team at Collins worked hard to obtain this eligibilty for our anglers and it’s another great reason to fish with the Bass for Cash.
Team Championship Eligibility
The Collins Bass for Cash is allowed to send one team to the BASS Team Championship for every 25 teams that register with us in a tournament season. The top teams are determined by our Points Championship Standings.
In 2023, we will be sending our top 5 teams to the Harris Chain of Lakes in Florida for the Bassmaster Team Championship.
There is a $10 charge per angler that BASS requires in order for us to participate. We added this $10 fee to your membership costs for 2023.
How Does It Work?
The 2023 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Team Championship will be held on the Harris Chain of Lakes in Leesburg, Fla., December 6-9, filling the last spot in the 2024 Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic presented by Toyota.
The Collins Bass for Cash will send our top 5 teams to this event based on our final 2023 Point Standings.
The team portion of the event will be held Dec. 6-7 and will feature anglers from across the country. The winning team will not only win a cash prize, but they’ll also lead the charge into the Classic Fish-Off which will take place Dec. 8-9.
The Top 3 teams through Day 2 (6 anglers total) will have their weights zeroed and then compete individually in the Fish-Off. The competitor with the heaviest two-day total of the group will earn their spot in the 2024 Bassmaster Classic.
Never before has the Collins Bass for Cash provided our anglers with an opportunity like this. If you missed out on the opportunity to qualify for this Championship this year, you’ll have the chance in 2024 as we look forward to continuing our partnership with the Bassmaster Team Trail going forward.
Rules, Entry Fees, Practice Days
